POLICY

Return Policy

Uniichan is a small independent character goods shop. We want your order to arrive correctly and in good condition, and if we made a mistake, we’ll make it right.

Returns

We accept eligible returns within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused, unworn, unwashed, and in new condition
  • Free of stains, odors, pet hair, damage, or signs of wear
  • Returned with its original packaging, tags, backing cards, labels, or protective materials when applicable
  • Approved through our return request process before being shipped back

To start a return, contact us at cs_us@uniichan.com with your order number and the item you would like to return.

Items sent back without approval may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

For returns due to size, preference, change of mind, or ordering the wrong item, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake, such as sending the wrong item.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

Exchanges

We currently handle exchanges on a case-by-case basis.

For size exchanges or item swaps, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. The item must meet the same condition requirements as a return.

Because Uniichan products may be released in small batches, we cannot guarantee that another size, color, or product will be available by the time your return is processed.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at cs_us@uniichan.com.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo of the item
  • A clear photo of the packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

If the issue is confirmed, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation and available inventory.

Damage caused by normal wear, washing, misuse, improper handling, or accidental damage after delivery is not eligible for replacement or refund.

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind:

  • Stickers
  • Postcards, prints, paper goods, and collectible cards
  • Gift cards
  • Digital products
  • Sale, discounted, sample, “seconds,” or mystery items
  • Opened blind-box or sealed collectible items
  • Limited-drop items marked “final sale” on the product page

Final sale items are still covered if they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We may be able to cancel an order before it has been packed or shipped. Once an order has been fulfilled or handed to the carrier, it cannot be canceled.

Preorders

Preorder items will list an estimated shipping timeframe on the product page.

If a preorder or delayed item cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will contact you with an update. Depending on the situation, you may be offered the choice to continue waiting or cancel for a refund.

Lost, Stolen, or Returned Packages

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.

If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, or refusal of delivery, we can either reship the order after the customer pays the new shipping cost, or refund the item cost after the package is returned to us. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

If tracking shows that a package was delivered, but you cannot find it, please contact the carrier first and check with household members, neighbors, mailrooms, or building management. We will review these situations case by case, but we are not responsible for packages stolen or lost after confirmed delivery.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we will notify you whether the return has been accepted.

If accepted, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or card provider to process the refund.

If a returned item does not meet our return requirements, the return may be declined.

Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to refuse returns, refunds, or replacements in cases of suspected abuse, repeated excessive claims, altered products, missing items, or returns that do not meet this policy.

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Secure Processing

uniichan.com uses secure processing called SSL Encryption Technology, which is the industry standard. Shipping

Uniichan currently ships to the United States and Canada.

We are a small independent shop, so every order is packed with care. Please review your shipping information before placing your order to help avoid delays.

Order Processing

Please allow 3–5 business days for order processing before your order ships.

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays.

During product launches, limited drops, holidays, or high-volume periods, processing may take a little longer. If there is a significant delay with your order, we will contact you.

Shipping Times

Shipping time begins after your order has been processed and handed to the carrier.

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the shipping method, destination, carrier delays, weather, customs processing, and other factors outside of our control.

Ground shipping may take an additional 7–10 business days after processing.

Shipping Addresses

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

At this time, we cannot ship to:

  • P.O. boxes

  • APO/FPO/DPO addresses

  • Freight forwarding addresses

  • Hotels or temporary lodging addresses

We may contact you for additional verification if an order appears incomplete, incorrect, or potentially fraudulent. If we cannot verify the order, we may cancel and refund it.

U.S. and Canada Orders

We currently accept orders shipping to residential addresses in the United States and Canada.

For Canadian orders, import duties, taxes, customs fees, or brokerage fees may apply. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not collected by Uniichan at checkout unless otherwise stated.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, the carrier is responsible for the delivery of the package.

If your package is delayed, lost, marked as delivered but missing, or damaged in transit, please contact the shipping carrier first to start a claim.

That said, if something goes wrong, please contact us at cs_us@uniichan.com with your order number. We will do our best to help you figure out the next step.

Uniichan is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, incomplete address, failed delivery attempt, refusal of delivery, or an address we do not ship to, we can either:

  • Refund the item cost minus the original shipping cost, or

  • Reship the order after the customer pays the new shipping cost

We do not automatically reship returned packages.

Refunds for returned packages will be processed after the package has been received and inspected.

Preorders and Delayed Items

If an item is a preorder, the estimated shipping timeframe will be listed on the product page.

If a preorder or delayed item cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will contact you with an update and, when required, offer the option to continue waiting or cancel for a refund.

Shipped via UPS.

All Canadian customers will be responsible for paying any import duties and any additional fees or taxes once a shipment reaches Canada. Additional customs clearance charges must be paid by the customer.

Purchase For Personal Use Only

You may purchase products only for personal use and not for resale. By placing your order, you certify that you are purchasing products for personal use only and not for resale. We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason without explanation.

 

Sales Tax

Sales Tax is charged to all orders that qualify.
